Thousands flock to Ireland's largest festival of world cultures.

The Belfast Mela (meaning 'to meet'), bathed in sunshine, as tens of thousands of people packed into Botanic Gardens to enjoy a show stopping line up featuring music, dance, food, fashion,street theatre, circus and carnival from across the globe.

A massive big thank you to all that came down and to the entire team that worked in making this the biggest and best Mela to date.

Excellent , thanks ArtsEkta for organising this colourful, fun filled thoroughly enjoyable experience Great day out, only negative is that one day isn't enough!!! Thank you That was my first experience of the Belfast Mela and I just would like to say how much I enjoyed it. The vibrancy, the music, the costumes, the atmosphere ...Woh! Well Done The whole organisation of the festival was superb. Can't wait 'till next year Great to see all colours of citizen there at this event...the rest of Belfast take note...when we are all together we all have fun...a splendid advertisement for culture in Belfast. More please.
